    Unhappy 1st invitation to speak

I haven't post anything lately re: my biz! However, I have been busy listening to TR and Cloe resources to empower my ideas, moves, and dreams!

For my biz I am almost done with my biz plan. Although I am not looking for financial support, it is good idea to write a plan and set some goals, productive goals and income goals.

The outline for my topics are almost done and some of my PPTs are done! My bio and summary of what I do is almost done.

I am getting there!!! I set the goal of opening it in March; however, I am going to be flexible, if March is pushing it, I will move the opening in April.

However, I got my first invitation to speak to a large company in CA. They want me to talk about inclusions and diversity = disabilities.

I am very excited!!! The presentation is not until October, but gives me enough time to prepare!!!

    That is awesome!

    Talking more going

Today, it was a good day!

    For my biz:
    1. I attended the toastmasters meeting and watched the International Speakers competency
    2. I sent my first draft of my web site to my bro asking to review and edit
    3. I added more information to my web
    4. I selected the my speeches topics
    5. Started writing an outline for the topics
    6. I requested a mentor from the toastmasters

In addition, I listened to Cloe's training. She explained that she was very shy and could not want she wanted to do in her life. She shares her experience with a counselor who helped her to loose fear re: public speaking and then she became a great speaker. Great questions with great answers.

The defenders office called me to schedule my day and time to volunteer for them starting next week!!!

Today, it was a good day!

Talking and more going and more coming!!!

I have been working hard on planning my biz!!!

I am almost done with the first draft. Tomorrow I will post the web I putting together, then maybe some of you can give me positive criticism and some ideas.

I was worry about not having $$$ to print some flayers. Nice printing that look some what professional. However, I got a phone call from a former co-worker requesting to contract with me to translate many of their handbooks and brochures into Spanish!!! After talking with her about my biz, she told me that she is the new outreach and training manager for a statewide organization and that she has the funding to contract a motivational speaker! OMG!!!!

It is going, and going, and starts coming!!! lol lol lol

It is so amazing to see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! I am loving this feeling of empowerment and hope!!!!

    Smile Lost in reality!

WOW! I haven't been in this community for several days! Time goes fast! I am so glad that my attendance is not watched!!! lol lol

My biz is going and I am helping my husband to open his store in eBay. He may not be able to work anymore and he wants to do something from home.

This time is hard for him and for me as well. He got cancer last year and went through radiation to kill the cancer; but the radiation touched his eye. Now he has to have surgery in his eyes!!! His situation has slowed my biz planning a little bit, to the point that I thought to get a FAST income and putting my biz in hold for a while, but I know that if I put it in hold I may not do it ever.

    I know me very well!!!

One thing at a time! and all will work! and my hubby will be OK!

I had my turn as well! I had to visit the doctor as an "emergency", next week I have a few drs appointments to try to find out what is wrong with me, myself, and I!

I hope to return soon with better info to share!

    Purplegoddess67,
Thank you. The surgery is this coming Monday and I am nervous. I am not sure if I mentioned this before, but my husband had cancer, had his ear amputated, and had radiation treatment. According to the eye doctor, the radiation touched my husband eyes. One eye is worse and getting worst. That is why am nervous. He is afraid as well. He keeps telling me, "I am afraid. I already lost an ear, I am afraid now I am going to lose one eye!" I tried helping him to feel better and not to think about it, but I know is hard.

Being honest, some times I am not sure what to say!

I think I need to visit this web as often as I used to just to release some stress, worries, and too much thinking on "what could happen".

    Thanks again!
